Who We Are
The P4H Network is a pioneer initiative. It was launched during the June 2007 G8 summit in Heiligendamm, Germany. Our mission is to promote, develop and strengthen exchange and collaboration for social health protection and health financing advancing universal health coverage.
Leadership for UHC
The P4H Network’s flagship programme, Leadership for UHC (L4UHC), is designed for senior decision makers. In one year, they boost their leadership skills and build high levels of trust. Their ethos fosters networking across sectors. Since 2016, L4UHC has run 12 cycles of about 120 days.
During an L4UHC programme cycle, decision makers from different sectors agree on a common vision and identify and carry out collective actions. They collaborate to produce concrete and practical results. These tangible results further agendas advancing UHC and help decision makers build coalitions committed to further gains.
